Bread Pudding

Nutmeg1/2 teaspoons
Orange Peel1/2 teaspoons
Lemon Peel1/2 teaspoons
Anise1/2 cups
Egg yolks4
Maple syrup1/2 cups
Baking soda1/8 teaspoons
Currents1/2 cups
Milk1/2 quarts
Vanilla extract1 1/2 teaspoons

Cube bread and place in 13x9 inch pan. Combine cinnamon, nutmeg, orange and lemon peels, walnuts and raisins and sprinkle evenly over bread cubes. Beat egg yolks, maple syrup and baking soda. Scald the milk. Stir egg mixture and vanilla into milk and pur over bread mixture. Bake at 350 one hour or until golden. Serves 8.
