Chop apples into 1/4" pieces. Finely chop onion. To medium saucepan, add the cranberries, apple, onion and all the other ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Turn heat to low, simmer uncovered for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve at room temperature or cold.
This is good on chicken or pork or used as a condiment for rice.
